March 8, 2014 BRANDING DAY CONTEST
OFFICIAL RULES
1. No Purchase Necessary. Promotion begins on 12:01 AM Eastern March 8, 2014, and ends at 11:59 PM March 14, 2012, unless extended in total or in part by the undersigned at the undersigned’s sole and absolute discretion and all entries must be transmitted no later than that date. The Grand Prize drawing is open to residents of the United States and Canada only (void where prohibited), and must be 18 years of age or older. Employees (and their dependents and immediate household members) of related parties of Author, of Rockin’ SR Publishing, Narrow Gate Books and Midpoint Trade Books, their advertising the promotional agencies, and sponsoring companies of this promotion are not eligible to participate.
2. To enter the Grand Prize drawing and other prize drawing, complete and submit electronically the online entry form at www.threadswestseries.com. All fields on the online Entry Form must be filled out completely to be entered to win. Please enter the word “drawing” in the order confirmation field, if applicable. Incomplete entry forms are void. One entry may be made for each Threads West or Maps of Fate book purchased. Or, one entry per household is allowed if not a book purchaser. Entries submitted using bot or automated technology are ineligible and may be deleted. The Publishers and Reid Lance Rosenthal assume no responsibility for lost, late or misdirected entries or for any computer, online, telephone, or human error or technical malfunctions that may occur. All entries become the property of Rockin’ SR Publishing and Reid Lance Rosenthal and will not be acknowledged or returned.
3. Prizes and Odds of Winning. One Grand Prize and one Runner up Grand Prize drawing will be held on, or about March 15, 2014, for: Substituting prizes is not allowed. Any applicable federal, state, and/or local taxes are the responsibility of the winner.
4. Validation and Acceptance. The winners will be selected in a random drawing. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these official rules. Potential winners will be notified directly and posted online at: www.threadswestseries.com .
5. General information. The Publishers, Reid Lance Rosenthal, their related parties and affiliates in this promotion are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind; (ii) failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions; (iii) any condition caused by events beyond the control of The Publishers and Reid Lance Rosenthal (and other related parties or affiliates).
The Publishers and Reid Lance Rosenthal reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to suspend or cancel the Grand or Runner up Prize Drawing and other prize drawings at any time if a computer virus, bug, tampering, unauthorized intervention, or other technical problem of any sort corrupts the administration, security, or proper play of the Drawing. The Publishers and Reid Lance Rosenthal also reserve the right to disqualify, in their sole discretion, any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Web site, or who is otherwise in violation of the rules. By participating in the Drawing, each participant agrees to release and hold The Publishers and Reid Lance Rosenthal and their related parties and affiliates harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the Drawing or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
6. By entering this Grand Prize Drawing and other prize drawings, entrants are agreeing to periodic updates from the Publishers and Reid Lance Rosenthal about this drawing, special offers, or new products including after the close of the drawing. Entrant’s email will not be sold or given to third parties.
7. No more than one gift certificate offer will be honored for any one contestant. If a contestant has received more than one promotional code, or more than one gift certificate (unless in combination equaling a promotional code) the contestant must choose which ONE gift certificate – regardless of whether received prior to or after the contest – or code to use to participate in drawings and bonuses.
8. Winner’s List. Winner will be posted on, or after march 15, 2014, at www.threadswestseries.com . The winner will also be notified via email.
