Rockin’ SR Publishing of Cheyenne Wyoming and Debbie Sampson, CEO of Anything In Oil of Hollywood, Florida, have jointly announced a deal for components of book cover art and 1,000 limited edition prints for the #1 best-selling, six-book series, Threads West, An American Saga, by Wyoming author and rancher Reid Lance Rosenthal.
Their first work together will be for a key component of the cover for book two of the series, Maps of Fate, scheduled for release in late 2011. Book one, Threads West, achieved #1 best selling rankings in four major categories and nine genres in the months following its release in fall of 2010 and has won seven prestigious national awards including Best Western, Best Romance, and Best Historical Fiction, most recently in New York City in late May. The novel also captured Best Cover Design in the 2011 IBPA Benjamin Franklin awards. Design is by TLC Graphics out of Austin, Texas who boasts more than 100 national awards for outstanding design.
Ms Sampson said, “I am thrilled to be associated with this series. I have read book one, Threads West, and it is enchanting, gripping, romantic, and real. I can’t wait to read the second novel of the series.”
Debbie has been painting professionally for 30 years. Her work can be found in many galleries, museums, and private collections all over the world, including The Orlando Museum of Art and The National Art Museum of Sport. Her internationally-acclaimed sports paintings include the 1997 world series in Miami, The Orange Bowl, The Super Bowl, and the FEI World Equestrian Games last year at Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington. Her football piece, “Catching Colors,” was recently selected for the Museum of Sports Art in Indiana. Debbie uses colors to impart motion, action, and detail which draw viewers in as participants in the piece.
