On February 22 I had the great pleasure of spending time with and speaking to three groups of cadets at the Wyoming Youth Challenge on the Guernsey, Wyoming Army National Guard Base. It was even better than my first gig with WYC—and that rocked!
The young adults and staff of the Wyoming Youth Challenge are terrific! We have begun to get into the book, which they are devouring-discussions of the unique personalities of the characters-all variations of persona we have known in real life, and how that drives personal interaction between the characters and between us and others…and the pervasive influence of the universal energies of romance, the land and the American spirit. These kids have unique, sometimes startling insight teaching the author a few things, they are :-). And it is great!
